I Heart Transport T shirt

I fell in love with the T shirt on this tutorial from Helping Little Hands, and decided to make one for my vehicle obsessed son.  Anyway, I decided to do this T in reverse so that I didn't have to use too much paint, and used Freezer paper - which I love. Results are pretty good, and Lucas adores it :-)

Thanks Helping Little Hands!!!!

I hadnt played much with fabric paints before, but bought Dylon ones from a local craft shop. I have to say that I have had mixed results - some of my T shirts seem to almost fade away when washed (VERY frustrating when you have worked for ages on the stencil), whilst others still seem like new. No idea why - I have emailed Dylon, so will let you know their thoughts, or would love to hear yours in the comments below!

  1. What is "Freezer paper"? Or am I being thick?

Its brilliant stuff - you can print images onto it, or trace with it, iron it on so it sticks, use paints then peel it off. I LOVE it! Want to have a play one evening, maybe with some other people? We could make T shirts for our chids or whatever.
